Rockport-Fulton Good Samaritans

Good Samaritans is an organization established by volunteers, built by volunteers, and manned by volunteers. It has no employees other than a part-time bookkeeper. It exists to help citizens of Aransas County. Volunteers include long-time residents, retirees, “Winter Texans”, local church members, and others. Although from different backgrounds, all volunteers have a single goal: to lend a hand to those in need.

We have approximately 50 volunteers who work many hours to keep our doors open to help low-income families. We give out food. We provide help with clothing, utilities, shelter, medical services, and many other needs.

In the future, we expect to help more people who come to us with even greater needs. This includes Loads of Love (laundry assistance), a new Wesley Nurse, and a stable hygiene program. Pet food is also provided when available.
