Prayer Concerns: Reed Marton had triple bi-pass heart surgery Friday, August 11. Jackie McCorquodale, starts radiation treatments on Monday, August 14, in addition to her chemotherapy. Daniel Garcia was released from the hospital where he was treated for borderline pneumonia. Ed Fegley has been moved to a rehab unit for physical therapy after which they have been advised to move into assisted living quarters. Brittany Armentor’s sister Ashton is facing possible leg amputation if attempts to surgically repair a rod implanted in it are unsuccessful.
Celebrations: Pam Roe doing well after foot surgery July 31. The health of Tommy Roth, Caro Jackson’s friend, is improving though he had several more unexpected surgeries. Liz Murray was able to church on Sunday, August 6, while recovering from back surgery. John and Adelaide Marlatt celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Tuesday, August 8. Jeremy Jaggard celebrated his 32nd birthday Sunday, August 6
Prayer Comforter Ministry: Corky Guill, Penny Neff’s brother, sustained a broken collar bone and head injury when his truck pulling a trailer filled with hay was struck by a garbage truck on a farm road. He is unable to work for a couple months and may need surgery if his collar bone doesn’t heal naturally. Melonie Hanson, Bud and Jerry Hanson’s daughter in law, having colon surgery Monday, August 28. Kari Kelley and her sons Christopher and Thomas, with prayers and sympathy of the church for the loss of her youngest son and their little brother, Timothy, on Thursday, August 10.

Prayer Concerns: Reed Marton’s triple bi-pass heart surgery on Friday, August 11, was without incident and his recovery is progressing smoothly. Gay Hetjmancik has been hospitalized in San Antonio to drain fluid. Bianca Galvan, a friend of Penney Clarke, had surgery Friday, August 11, and learned her grand father had passed away,
Celebrations: Ed Fegley is better, using a walker, and released from rehab. Ben and Vanessa Friebele celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary. Adelaide Marlatt, Thanks to the congregation for allowing Pirates Landing to use the gym again this summer. Ann Chappell, mother in law of Caro Jackson’s daughter, celebrated one year in cancer remission
Prayers and sympathy of the church are extended to the family and many friends of Willie Flores, a valued employee at State Services in Ingleside, who lost his battle with cancer Wednesday night, August 16.
