Adult Sunday School :  Food and the Bible

Mary and Scott Hime will lead a 4-week Sunday School study on Food and the Bible.  The class will be held in the cafeteria at 9:00 a.m.  There will be handouts but no book.  The topics that will be covered include:

March 4^th – Food Restrictions in the Bible

March 11^th –  Food in Jesus’ Time

March 18^th – Food as a Teaching Tool in the New Testament

March 25^th – Food at the Last Super

On Sunday, March 25^th at 5:30 p.m. we will have a Sunday School get together at the Himes where we will attempt to recreate a 1^st century Passover meal.

Learning about the role that food played in biblical times will increase our understanding of the Word.  Food has always been an important part of fellowship so please consider taking part in this study.
